Does topcoating an epoxy primered surface add additional rust protection or is it just for looks? I am using a black PPG epoxy primer that dries flat black. I had planned on painting over it with black on the insides of the fender wells, inside bed apron, bed siils, and other hidden parts. Now that I have a few pieces primered I am wondering if I need to cover the epoxy at all in those areas.
