The "Hogs head" or "Pumpkin" from a 55 to about 61 1/2 ton is the same as the 46 housing. I used a 56 with 3:38 gears. Take another look at the pics from my post above. You can see my 46 with the 56 pumpkin installed. I also added lowering blocks. The "Bracket" I made to attach the brake and clutch pedle assembly was bolted to the later bell housing. The adapter Berry Weeks spoke about sounds like a great deal. I made mine because I kind of like doing stuff like that.
