the core support is sitting on brackets that I welded to the suburban frame. I put the truck all together before any paint work to make sure everything was going to work. The bed will set on the 53 frame in the front and blocks with about 1/2" extra thickness in the back. I had to extend the clutch rod about 7" for my 73 running gear application, but if you want to run the original six i don't know what mods you may have to make if any.
