I agree, body swap would be easier. That was more what i meant by the frames being the same. The '67-'72 is a different animal than the '60-'66 as far as 4x4 goes. They have more in common with the '73-'87 in how the front is setup. You would be looking at swapping the T-case crossmember, spring mounts, steering box, and axles.
