Thurl, I recently followed a post about installing glass (wingvent) and for the most part I remember it saying to be sure to use "glazing urethane". I'm thinking about using it on my vent windows instead of the tape.
I couldn't find "glazing" urethane at the local flaps although some area's seem to carry it. What i found was a tube, like a caulking tube, of Windshield Sealant and it appears you an set just about any glass with it. The cost was about $15. I may try it on my wing vents but it will be a week of so... at least!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
