While stripping down the front end today, I removed the king pin lock bolts and tapped lightly on the king pins...to my surprise, they popped right out. They were well greased and came out with almost no force at all. With the tires/rims on, the spindles had a small amount of play and I was thinking of replacing the king pins anyway.
Since they came out so easy, does this mean I need the oversized? The ones I have are in good shape with no marks.
