The deluxe heater in my 64 has a cable that comes through the cowl and is attached to a lever outside of the airbox that mounts to the cowl in the engine compartment. The cable from the dash single lever goes through the cowl and attaches to that lever. 60-63 cable is located on the inside of the airbox and controls the coolent valve. 64-66 controls the air flap inside the airbox.
