My '65 has the simplest heater: one knob pulls out for heat, and turns for fan speed. There's a lever under the dash for defrost diversion.
My question pertains to under the hood. On the heater core housing is a lever that operates a flapper "above" the heater core, but there's no cable or other way to operate it from inside the cab. Is there supposed to be? Any details would be helpful.
