| | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 61 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 61 | My spindles have the lip also. I converted to tapered roller bearings and the race on the spindle is a little wider. So there is a larger bearing surface.
