I wired up a set of those new mini halo fog lights on my 52 this winter just for safety sake, my low beams are pretty dim compared to my newer vehicles and my night vision aint what it used to be.
As for wiring I pulled a headlight out and confirmed wich wire was for the low beams and powered my fog lights off the low beam feed, that way when ya click on your BRIGHTS the fog lights go out like on new vehicles and when ya turn off your lights the fog lights also go out ..."NO FOREGETIN TO FLICK THE SWITCH".
you can also use the headlight feed for your low beams and bring a wire back to your switch ..this way you can select on and off for your fog lights at will but when you turn of the main light switch the fog lights are powered down and you wont ever forget to turn em off.
