A typical scenario would involve wiring both lights together, then running the single wire to a fused toggle switch wired to the post behind the 'neg' or - side of the ammeter.

Both fog lights will have to be bolted to a clean body or frame attachment for a good ground. Pulling your power from the generator side of the ammeter means that the lights will always be ON unless you turn the toggle switch OFF...turning the key OFF won't kill the lights.
