the guy took the drive shaft from the donor truck and cut it to length. i alreday had the 350 yoke on it. he took my 3/4 ton drive shaft and cut the diff end yoke off and slipped it in the end of the donor shaft. he then measured yoke to yoke on each side to make sure it was the same measurement and he then welded it. i would have thought that it needed to be put on the lathe and centered it on both ends and then welded it, but that is not what he did.he told me that he has never had a problem with any that he did that way. i think it may be the problem to but dont know. thanks for any help.
