Hi; I have a sort of general question. Can I replace crank shaft main bearings (bushings) without pulling the engine? With the crank in place? If so, how do I get the bearing half out from between the crank and the block? Is there a tool for this? Sad to say, this is my son's F#&d V-6 in his van and it's really hard to get the engine out. I hate working on F#&ds.
Any advice would be appreciated.
