My 52 panel has some rough fitting doors that I had gotten. After getting the doors to look good everywhere, except this one area, my body man actually ADDED a strip of metal to the edge of the door.... on one of the rear panel doors he actually ground off a bit to make it at least look "decent or acceptable".
These old trucks have been loaded, worked and twisted over the years and you just have to do what works.... oh, the body man cut the inside of one of my rear panel doors to get it to curve a little in at the bottom in order to fit the bottom contours of the body. Took out about a quarter inch, bent the door in and did his magic. Can't tell it now.... | | |
