That truck will go on a 18 foot car trailer with no problems. Just make sure it is in fact HD so the axels are rated for the load. It is basically like towing an extra cab chevrolet full sized pickup, size and weight. I don't think you will have any problems. I have towed 3 home that way with no issues. One on a smaller car trailer.
