THANK YOU! I set up the test on the 'bench with the jumper wire between the gauge housing and the sender body and the gauge worked perfectly.

Now the only thing left to do is to modify the Jeep sending unit to accept the Original Equipment Chevy sending assembly. . .but that's just a little cutting and fitting.
