We used the existing steering box and he welded a bracket to the side of the frame to mount the box too. we cut a small slot to the left of the steering column to alingn the column straight. gona change column sometime. had pleny of room. had to heat up and bend the control arm so it would move correctly. drives and handles great. i put a steering wheel from a 74 nova and it looks better and does not change the effort it takes to turn the steering wheel. send email and i will send some pictures if you would like
