Well we installed a chevy 400 in my 3/4 ton and left the striaght axle. ad to install hugger headers and move the steering box 2" to the left. we used the rear motor support from the 235 and modifed it and used it for the front motor supports. i used a 74 nova rear transmission support for the rear and bolted it into place, had to cut about 1" off on each side. used a lokar shifter and works great, got to deal with the low gear rear end so i can go 60 with low rpm's
