Here is my 1935 1.5ton dual wheel Chevrolet. I bought it from my grandfather about 2 years ago and just picked it up this spring (had to get a big enough trailer). I don't know a lot about the history of this truck. My grandfather bought it about 20 years ago at an auction. He brought it home and parked it in the shed. The only time it got moved was if we need to get to something else. The last time I remember seeing it run was about 10 years ago. I always liked the style of these old trucks and with my grandfather getting older I didn't want to see it just go to the highest bidder. I'm hoping to get it restored for my grandfather to see, because it was always his dream to restore it.
I believe the truck still has the original 207 and still turns over freely with the crank. I don't know if the mileage is correct, but shows 43,000. It’s just missing a couple of parts, for the most part it’s a complete truck. The truck came out of the Janesville, WI plant with the 157" wheel base. It also came with two extra rims (one for the front and one for the back). My plan is to keep it as original as I can.
