Another observation of this truck, why would the Navy or anyone order a 1/2 ton with a long bed when a 3/4 ton could be bought with a long bed? Also, if the factory would have put a long bed on a 1/2 ton I am sure they would have used the 3/4 running boards rather than splicing the 1/2 ton running boards.
