Currently the factory manual box sits on top of the frame and the pitman arm mounts to the box vertical instead of horizontal. The drag link runs parallel to the frame to the steering arm. On this cabover, crossover steering is not an option give the axle being used and spring locations.
Mounting a box outside the frame will not allow tire clearance.
My question is are there any power steering boxes that sit mostly on top of the frame with a vertical pitman arm? If so, what applications can I look for?
