Thanks, I figured that Chevy sold cab-less trucks, probably still do. I grew up in Eastern Oregon and most of the trucks used for harvest (many were Chevy GI trucks) had the cabs cut off. One farmer ordered an entire fleet of new (1956 or 57) 2 ton trucks without cabs, and those were in use there for decades. I've not actually seen pictires yet of a 1930 ish with a wooden cab, but it looks like my idea will work for now. I forget which series mine is, but I'll look. If you search by TerryJ you'll see my original questions about it last year, when I and the family thought it was a '29. Wrong. It's a '30 and stone stock. :-) TJ
