The IFS was from an '87 3/4-ton Suburban but would be basically the same as any '71 to '87 3/4-ton Chevy or GMC pickup and a few more years in Suburbans.
It was NOT narrowed and the wheels did not stick out from under the fenders. However this truck is a dually and he has dually type wheels on the front of it.

'53 Chevy 1-ton dually with IFS conversionFor a time in the late 80's and 90's GM produced 3/4-ton pickups with 6-lug rears, but they are not full float so they aren't the best option for heavy loads or towing either one. I don't know if they had disk brakes and now that you ask I don't even know if the '91 I have has rear disk or not.
What wheels and tires do you want to run? You may find that a slightly different axle width will be best with your preferred wheels and tires.
