I own a '70 GMC 1/2 ton with a 350 and a 350 hydramatic tranny. The engine is smoking a little and the tranny needs to be resealed, so they're both coming out. I've got a pretty good idea of what needs to happen for me to get them out, but I was wondering if soemone could give me a list of what all I need to do. And if while I have the tranny out, should I go ahead and rebuild it along with the reseal, or if I should just reseal it and leave it alone.
