Thanks cujo8 for the picture. I have nothing like that in the inner fender on my 54 3100. There might be some old holes there, giotta check, can't remember, but there is definitely no bracket left like yours. So I have the correct jack, just need to figure out where it goes...the 54 shop manual doesn't cover this topic at all. I'll have to pop for a repro owner's manul!
