I don't think you'll get 150 ft. lbs. of torque out of them 3/8 carrier bearing bolts. I would say 30 -35 ft. lbs. would be plenty. When tightening to u-joint u-bolts, you just tighten them as tight as an open end wrench will get them. There's no real way to torque them. Don't tighten one all of the way and then the next, bring them down snug and tighten them a little at a time.
