Well, I've got good news. The new throttle linkage kit was excellent, and it runs noticeably better than the 1 bbl Rochester.
Then I installed a Pertronix kit on it, and with electronic ignition, the 235 has never run so well.
The truck's not quite so painfully slow anymore. It can finally get out of its own way...well better anyway.
