Dado, I would say try your NAPA or some of the other local stores. It should not be hard to find a kit for that engine and avoid the high dollar kits some "antique" guys offer.
Just something to think about. I worked on a guys old truck and Advance has a 235, the same year model, for under 1500. If your expecting to rebuild and have the machine labor and head work ect ect it may pay you to buy a long block which has everything but distributor, oil pump and pan/valve cover.
I work at Advance part time delivery and could get an extra 20% discount so it made good sense for me.
Now, if it just needs freshing up a kit may do the trick.
As a side note. My nephew is doing and old truck for a friend and had a mid 50's 235 TOTALLY redone, including new rockers ect and the guy has a bit over $3000 in the engine.

EDIT: I should add that his head was cracked and had to be professionally repaired. The guy guranteed it in writing.
