Thanks for the reply Shark. I don't have the original 52 bell or linkage. It sounds like the starter linkage gets attached at the bell housing flywheel area which would change depending on the motor year. If I don’t have the OLD 1st series bell housing then the hole in my cab which is offset from the gas peddle might not match up.
