you dont want my opinion of flowmasters.lol i had a muffler shop, and have done exhaust for many years. for me,the flowmasters are too hollow sounding,and i dont like the way they decieve people with there advertising, but a lot buy them because they like that sound. the real issue is what are you looking for,and what are you willing to give up to get it.
in a nut shell, the less backpresure, the more top end you get. the more restriction, the more torque. i put on one of the mufflers that i make on my honda...(yes honda) and it killed it off the line. but great at high rpm. im thinking a good glass pack on mine. give it the old school sound. my 2 cents worth.
