Looking for ideas. Getting ready to start restoring my 1965 Suburban. I'm thinking of a two tone color scheme. White on top and red on the bottom. Tinted windows. I was also thinking of some ideas for the interior. I want to try making my own head liner. I'm thinking of using tan colored elk hide!!
As far as the front seat, I'm not sure what I want to do. I really like bench seats, but buckets would make it easer to reach the back from between the seats. I know I'm not going to put a second row seat because I want the room.
I'm keeping the 292 engine, I will change the rear differential gear ratio though. I'm thinking 353 gears?? I want to improve gas milage, cruse the highway, and still be able to pull a small trailer.
Any ideas??
