Update guys,
When the bolts gave way the thrashing around did damage to the front and back yokes and bent the speedo gear shaft. I scrounged these parts from an old box and have put everything back together. I'm still getting bad vibration in top gear in the four speed box. It doesn't seem to vibrate much going through the lower gears. I was wondering if it could have damaged the gearbox rear bearing or gearbox shaft. Any advice would be appreciated as I need to get this back on the road asap. One other point was that when I tightened up the trunnion on the front yoke I had to move the driveshaft over a wee bit to line up the second two bolts. The first two lined up fine.
