I have nothing against ambulances as long as we're saving them from the scrap pile.

In real life, most old firefighters hate ems roles but it is what we do on the job. Times change and somebody has to help the hurt folks. It might as well be the firefighters as we are trained, ready and able to help no matter what it takes. Like it or not, there is an ambulance in the future for every firefighter and fire station. Why should the Stovebolt department be different?
