In my 2ton trucks I used to get 10mpg fully loaded going down the Highway. My 2nd car was a 56 chevy car with overdrive and onetime going at 55 I got 25mpg. I never had any trouble with any of them. In 1998 I drove a fully loaded 52 2ton from Manhattan Kansas to Soldotna Alaska 4200 miles and the motor only used 2 quarts of oil. My 1953 1ton has a 216 and someday I'll put in a 235. | | |
