(I like CCP' write up on the conversion. Very well done.
I've been checking the #'s at Advance to see what one would cost and found that
1968-1976 use the same part #........$152 plus $75 core
1977-1979 use same but diff part#... $139 plus $50 core
1980-1986 use same but diff part#... $152 plus $125 core
I looked all these up for a 1/2ton C-10 half ton pickup.
(well I think one of the '80's was a G-10)
All that to ask one simple question. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?
I couldn't view all of them at one time but they all looked the same to me as I looked them up individually.
If they all have the same bolt pattern and will work then what year would you choose? The latest year??....what ever the difference it must be what changes the core charge.
OOOOOK, lets here from the guys who know! I'm waiting on answer before buying a steering box.
