Okay, so I'm halfway through a front-end rebuild: I've dismantled it. That means I'm half done, right? Anyway, the tie rod, a tubular type with screw-in ends, has a slight bend. I can see about 1/2 of the opening at the far end when I look through. The bend is gentle, no kinks. Is replacement a priority, or can it be used still? I'm not sure where I would get a new one, although I got the ends off the rack at NAPA.

Thanks, Guys and Gals

Knowledge is a wonderful thing, but ignorance means you don't know you can't do something.
