I see from your build link that you are using a C5 pedal assembly. Did you need to modify mount to match firewall? The pedal with my motor is from an 06 Yukon which requires a more vertical firewall mount.

no it mounts directly to my firewall, I did repace my firewall with a recessed one so that may make a difference. I have one of those truck pedals also that thing was huge.
