Usually, when the vehicle runs fine before you work on an item, then doesn't run so great afterward, it's the work that was done that has caused the problem. It doesn't have to be the EXACT thing you worked on..you might have pulled an important hose off or ripped a critical wire loose or sumpin! The point I am trying to make is "cause and effect". You replaced the plug wires and now the carb doesn't work, very suspicious!! Go back and make sure all the work you did was right, THEN look for other things. Auto Zone doesn't need your hard earned money right now! Good Luck.
