How do you intend to use this truck? Maybe that should have been the first question. Most the IFS solutions are geared to hot rodders, not working trucks.

My guess is that the best IFS for a real truck would be one from a 1-ton pickup. The Mustang II, Pacer or Camaro clip approaches aren't going to have the load capacity or brake capacity a real truck needs.

If hot rod is what you are building, and you're not going to haul a load, another approach might be to find a front axle from a 1/2-ton, adapt that to the front of your 1-ton and then use a disk brake kit.
