Yo Jkastner51 - I have a 59 which I am pretty positive uses the same brakes. Look at
www.praisedynobrakes.com I got kevlar linings from them and my brakes work really well. If you are not looking to just upgrade the brakes, like lowering the suspension, etc, then that won't work for you. I have had 3000 lbs in scrap iron on my truck and the brakes work fine. I also have a new power brake 7.5 inch booster on a 61 corvette master.
