Does anyone know the aprox. weight of a '71 C20 bare cab? (eg no glass, seat, gauges, or doors). I've got to lift it off the frame and set it on jack stands. Underneath the jack stands I was going to place poly/furniture dollys. They have a 200 lb capacity/ea. I thought 4 jack stands (6 ton capacity ea.) under 4 corner locations of the cab, with 4 furniture dollys under the jack stands would be sufficient. Do you think 4 men (average size) could physically lift the cab off the truck without rupturing a vertabrae disk? Thanks for your help & info.
