| | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 8 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 8 | I am just doing some research and I am looking thru Patricks catalog for the Torque Tube tranny swap... you supply the tranny. So what is the core charge for main shaft? Do you have to swap out the main shaft on the saginaw tranny you supply? I have a '49 GMC 1/2 ton 4 speed . This swap should be easy enough but I am trying to get it all together before I buy anything. then I read that the saginaw linkage will interfere with the brake power booster if you mount it down there. but other guys make minor adj. to the brake lines and it all works. so does any body have a paper or a write up on this? other than what i have read what about patricks SS exhaust. Does the power booster interfere with that?
