I think Woody is correct. Mine had nuts welded in the door panel
similar to cage nuts. I think the modern u-nuts would suffice.
I had clutch head screws holding the lower panel, and phillips head screws in the upper (cardboard) panel. (I think they were added later in the truck's life.)
Here's a photo of the door before I put the covers on, but you can't see much even zooming the photo to 300%. I really just wanted to show off the gray paint.
