I'm not sure I'm on the same page as you are on the thread.
IMHO, there is absolutely no way to install a 12 volt battery in a 6 volt system and have that 6 volt system charge that 12 volt battery...does this sound right!
If you do as your dad did and tap into the 12 volt battery bridge to achieve 6 volts, how will that 6 volt charging system charge the 12 volt battery? What am I missing on this?
