The 1/2 ton had a foot engaged parking brake that used the rear brake shoes. 3/4 ton trucks with 3 speed trans used the same setup. The parking brake for the 4 speed on 3600 and up is a hand lever that activates a set of brake shoes on a cylinder in the driveshaft. | | |
