Cup holder, there are many on ebay from ford trucks, chevy trucks, foreign cars, etc. Some have combo: holders and storage drawers. Or a aftermarket patch panel or donor patch, then Stock radio delete. Don't think a radio delete plate will fit a "gaping" hole. (maybe you just mean a non modified radio hole) If you need a radio: remote control radio in glove box or elsewhere works. ( I'm not an AD expert, but know about TF). For the purest: Restomod = very few changes to body and interior but using modern undercarriage. RestoRod = Changes,upgrades, modifications to the whole vehicle. The cup holder idea may put you in RestoRod mode if you care. (for the purest only)
