I've got the Offy with the Edelbrock 1404 and it works well. Runs great, easy tuning. I plumbed water heat (make sure to JB weld the plugs in the manifold) and I never any driveability problems in 4 season driving. Got the setup off Ebay for less than the price of a new carb.
