I haven't tried the plastic one you talk about, but i've done the cardboard and the fiberglass ones. What a pain in the butt.
I have a feeling that they are all tough. Might as well give it a try. It can't be any worse than the others. I ended up covering with the vinyl that was used on the seats. Get an extra set of hands and good luck. Cecil.......
