cruisinchevy51: I'm not exactly sure what you are wanting to accomplish. I think you want an original column but your wanting to know if you can find something to adapt an automatic shift linkage to it.....I do not know of any that will work perhaps someone will yet step forward.
As a side note I know of guys using a colum out of an 80's(?) van because it has the turn signal, tilt, and the switch is NOT on the colums so they can still use the dash switch.
For me I have a steering wheel/column out of a 68 pickup that is trim (small), turn signal, and has the automatic lever on it, I can keep my dash switch. I'm PLANNING on trying to use it as someone here on the bolt did some time ago.
When I got the steering colunm I also got the automatic linkage. I believe that with a small amount of modification I can use all the linkage. I'm just hoping the master cyl won't be in the way when I need to weld the bracket to the side of the chassis to make it work.
So, Maybe something I've said has give you some idea's or hope. I'm not sure what my situation will end up being but when I'm through hopefully I can help future Bolters!!!
I'm sure their is a Hot Rod Shop out there somewhere that has, or can help get me, and you, get to where we want to be.
