If you use the relocator plate you
do not need the special, expensive, short-shaft water pump that bolts right up to the 56-63 blocks
without a relocator plate.
With the relocator plate, you would use a less-expensive, standard pre-55-1st water pump with the appropriate pulley belt-width (53-55 have a narrower belt than 52 and earlier pulleys).
For the remote oil filter head and plate, I made the mounting plate from 1/8" or 1/4" aluminum plate and a
remote oil filter head from Summitt Racing.
I drilled and tapped a 1/8" npt hole in the top of the plate and installed a 1/8" t-fitting for the oil pressure sender and an oil pressure switch (NAPA MPE OP6626SB) for current to the electric chokes (works for 6v or 12v).
Fitting the oil lines was difficult (short lines) and expensive (AN/NPT fittings/adapters).
